Wearing an outfit that was a joint design with Kevin Hinde, RuPaul's Drag Race UK star and singer Divina de Campo told us:
"The event was great, a really interesting and illuminating celebration of the LGBTQ+ community and our allies. So happy for all the winners though I'm not sure how they could select just one from each of the categories because the cohorts were so strong."
Wearing a black Sandro blazer and black satin weekend trousers with a black silk shirt, Tom Read Wilson added:
"The nominees at tonight’s British LGBT Awards made me feel more than ever that, in addition to doing the day job, there’s quite an ambassadorship in all our work. Presence and visibility in every industry helps create narratives of encouragement for future generations, even when they are exposed to counter-narratives at home or are, as is sometimes the case, deprived of a home."

Quote wise “having community focused awards and recognition is always important to raise awareness of all the great conscious things people are doing for the community, the LGBT awards never disappoints with the community and allies they get to help with creating a buzz around an event like this. The part I find important and illuminating is to see how large companies are working and creating awareness for the cause and the winners of these awards it is always great to see what they have done and the effort they have made to create conversations and change. All the nominees are worthy and winners in their own right just for being nominated and it is just a pleasure to hear their stories.
