The Feeling

Lovely to photograph you at the Jamie premiere. Would it be possible to ask what you were wearing and get a little quote saying what you thought of the film for our article please? And let me know if you’d like me to send any photos too! x

"“This film is everything I needed growing up and more! The world needs a laugh and a big hug right now and this film does exactly that. The young cast bring this story of overcoming adversity to life in such a fun and freeing way. I loved it" - Riyadh Khalaf and Gemma Cairney

"I’m wearing Leopard Print because when I auditioned for the West End production of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie I wore Leopard Print, so it’s a full circle moment for me to attend the world film premiere in Leopard. The film absolutely blew me away, I loved all the new additions to the story. Absolutely wonderful to experience the story again. My outfit is by @dvcouture" - Vinegar Strokes

"The film was an absolute triumph! Couldn’t of left feeling happier if I’d tried." - Paddy Duff

"I genuinely loved it.It’s actually a very universally story that everyone can relate to. The struggle to be accepted for who you really are. It’s unbelievably heartwarming and life affirming." - Cassidy Janson

I was wearing a Vivienne Westwood recycled denim look giving some MTV 90’s red carpter glam

"It’s important to have relatable, queer stories pushing into the mainstream. This film will be a lifeline for many young kids finding out who they are and also their parents being able to see that it’s okay to love your children for not doing what society expects of you!" - Bimini Bon-Boulash

"My suit was Jill Sander, my glasses from Black eyewear, trainers Adidas Kermit the frog Stan Smiths. The film is an explosion of joy and fabulousness, exactly what we all need at the moment and my boy Max is a Star." - Ralph Ineson

Hi! And sure! I was wearing a dress by @narclsslsm and shoes by @newrock. And I thought that the film was incredible, the acting was impressive, the story heartwarming, the music was incredibly catchy and each musical number was depicted in such a creative way. It was also just a really important story to tell that should resonate with a lot of people trying to find their place and be their authentic selves. - Yasmin Benoit

"“infectiously uplifting, I was smiling from ear to ear when I left. Joyous" - Amrou Al-Kadhi

"The movie is a feel-good musical, focusing on a small-town British twenager ( coming of age story)with an unconventional dream and the determination to make it come true. The score by Dan Gilesspie Sells is very uplifting & keeps the movie flowing happily to the end." - Linzi Stoppard

"Jamie the movie was every bit as fabulous if not more so than the stage show. It was genuinely moving fabulous beautifully acted and directed . The choreography is brilliant . It’s just joyous and genuinely life enhancing . And special shout out to Richard e Grant who managed to break your heart Amd laugh out in the same moment" - Tracy Anno and daughter

It was my first movie premiere ever so I was terrified!! Yes! So there’s actually a story behind this dfess.

So it’s a French connection dress that has been adapted for stage cos it’s a quick change dress and it was lent to me by my flat mate James Gillian who is currently play Tray Sophisticay in the west end. (It’s not a dress from the musical just a personal drag dress of James’s)

I wasn’t going to wear this cos the dress I wanted to wear was at my parents house in Suffolk, and James and my best claire were amazing and helped me out last night and then this what we came up with!! So if you could defo mention that it’s James Gillian’s dress that would be great!! What did I think of the film… where do I start? The song ‘This Was Me’ brought me to tears - I’m an ugly crier and had make up on so that was an event in itself! It’s a truly magical film that champions difference and acceptance. THE WORLD NEEDS TO SEE THIS! therealgracielou's profile picture If you have any photos that would be amazing babes and let me know what I need to caption and who I need to tag and I’ll get that all done for you xxx

Hi team! Thanks for capturing me, the photos are fab. I’m wearing @Millia.london, and i wasn’t actually in the movie although looking at this gown they’re gonna wish i was! 🤣💗

Christina Bennington Cute I was wearing a dress from the Vampire’s Wife. Here is a quote- ‘I thought the film was one of the best screen adaptations of a musical I’d ever seen. I laughed throughout and was moved to tears by Max Harwood’s sensational performance. A true star.’
