The highlight of the night for me was meeting Courtney herself, she was so stylish & cool and we were lucky to get a pic with her as she is an idol of ours, what an icon! You could spend a long time looking at the artwork as it was so fascinating to see the artists interpretations of the album! The whole night was a great success & a good buzz and I was delighted to have been invited along - and Mollie McGinn* of the band Dea Matrona

The exhibition showcased so much amazing artwork inspired by Pretty on The Inside. It was great to walk around and see the artists unique creative interpretations of the iconic album 30 years on, it’s definitely worth viewing if you can this weekend!

It was such a lovely evening spent celebrating one of the most iconic bands in the scene at one of my favourite places in London surrounded by artwork by women I admire.
"The show I felt really embodied teenage angst of the 80s and 90s. It felt extremely nostalgic and my younger self was definitely satisfied. The show was amazing! It's such an inimitable experience to be part of the exhibition celebrating the 30th anniversary of Pretty on the inside with all these amazing artists. It's also an unforgettable experience of the first year of my UK life!🥰

The one thing that unified all the pieces was an unapologetic fuck you attitude. A breath of fresh air after the depressing monotony of the last 20 months. Im glad that some great art has come out of all the depression and oppression. Chloe Sheppard’s work particularly caught my eye for its use of contrasting fabric and patterns combined with a stark motif to create an eerie yet sensual composition - the perfect symbol of our current climate.
